Chaps & Dags

My chapbook came out in July, and I think that Finishing Line Press did a bang-up job. Obscura is now available online at http://www.amazon.com/, as well as at the press website.
I've learned all sorts of interesting things lately about chapbooks and daguerreotypes. First, on chapbooks -- here's some good historical info, at the link under the nifty picture of Ye Olde Chapbooks.

I was also fascinated to discover that there are modern daguerreotypists who are doing wonderful work. Go here to explore - http://www.newdags.com/index.html

Daguerreotype by Chris Bierrenbach

Some folks have expressed interest in seeing the photographs that correspond with each prose poem in the book. . . My plan is to get them all up on this website (or a personal webpage) in the somewhat near future.
